This step is often neglected, as proper keywords are not used or the site is not submitted to the major search engines in an effective manner. It takes 2-3 months before the site is registered in some of the search engines.

Generally, it is not possible to guarantee a position in all the search engines, not even in the top 10 positions. Thus, all claims that your website would be listed amongst the top 10 positions in all the major search engines should be verified.
